Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
